I'm so glad to hear that you are trying to recipes and also adapting them for the needs of your family! I think celery is a great flavor to add to the london broil. How did your dinner turn out??

Another great crock pot low-carb recipe to try would be ratatouille or chicken cacciatore. You don't need to serve these over rice or noodles, they are yummy all by themselves too.

Here's to a great year of yummy, easy cooking! Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not a good cook but trying to learn. Making the London broil recipe today only omitted the potatos and added celery hearts cut in 1 inch or so peices. Any suggestions? Hubby trying to stay low carbs after lunch :)

I'm sorry to hear that this meal didn't turn out well for you. Was your meat too lean to produce enough juices, perhaps? I also wonder if your crock pot cooks extra hot. Regardless, I'm sorry that your meal was disappointing. Feel free to email me through my contact page if you'd like suggestions before trying it again!

I have not cooked with venison, but if you give it a try, please let me know how it turns out! Venison is very lean, right? So be cautious that it doesn't get overdone and dry out in the crock pot. Even if it's immersed in liquid, it can still get overcooked. I bet venison stew would be great in the crock pot or maybe use it in cabbage rolls instead of ground beef or turkey. Good luck!

Nice recipe----easy to throw together. The feta cheese is a nice touch. I also added some diced green peppers as well.
